In recent months, we have been busy perfecting the black fence. What does this mean?
The paint:
Together with a paint manufacturer, we have created our own private label paint. This has resulted in a high-quality product, which we use to spray the boards twice.
We recommend selling a black fence with 0.75 litres of paint to touch up any damage or fittings. This can be done with a brush or roller.
The wood:
Douglas fir or spruce. The moisture content of the untreated board is very important, 15 to 18 % is ideal (this is oven dried). We measure the moisture content before treating the board.
